    We are looking for:

    The Composites GBU Industrial Hygiene Expert Leads the Industrial Hygiene program for the GBU. They ensure a safe and healthy working environment by developing and implementing industrial hygiene programs, providing technical support, conducting training, assessing investment projects, and creating innovative tools to enhance workplace health and safety. The position is responsible for the definition and deployment of the Composites GBU Industrial Hygiene improvement plan. Working in partnership with the Site’s Leadership teams this position is responsible for the implementation of the plan.

    We count on you to:

    + Define and coordinate hazard identification: Anticipate, identify, and recognize workplace hazards.

    + Manage our risk assessment program: Investigate and examine current and emerging workplace risks.

    + Ensure regulatory compliance: Strong understanding of industrial hygiene principles, regulations (OSHA, EPA, REACH), and industry standards (ANSI, ACGIH).

    + Program development:

    + Develop and implement comprehensive industrial hygiene programs.

    + Establish objectives, policies, and procedures for hazard identification, risk assessment, exposure monitoring, and control measures.

    + Maintain and support industrial hygiene tools (Socrates, CTES, Noise assessment, ergonomics screening tool).

    + Propose and track KPIs to monitor progress and identify improvement areas.

    + Provide site support:

    + Provide technical guidance and support to the GBU teams.

    + Mentor and develop site Industrial Hygiene Engineers

    + Conduct site visits to assess compliance and identify hazards.

    + Develop site-specific industrial hygiene plans.

    + Participate in Occupational Health issues and Root Cause Investigations.

    + Consult on injury/illness reduction strategies.

    + Provide training and education:

    + Develop and deliver training programs on industrial hygiene topics.

    + Tailor training programs to different job roles and departments.

    + Use various training methods (face-to-face and online).

    + Complete investment project reviews:

    + Evaluate industrial hygiene aspects of new investment projects.

    + Conduct assessments of new facilities or processes.

    + Ensure compliance with industrial hygiene standards.

    + Collaborate with project teams to implement controls during construction and commissioning.

    + Provide consultation for external approvals (licensing, permitting).

    + Provide legislative and regulatory monitoring:

    + Monitor legislation/regulations impacting Industrial Hygiene.

    + Comment on proposed legislations/regulations.

    + Interpret Industrial Hygiene legislations/regulations.

    + Develop training programs:

    + Experience in developing and delivering training programs for global or geographic audiences.

    You will bring:

    + Expertise in specific areas of industrial hygiene (chemical, biological, physical risk assessments, industrial toxicology, environmental monitoring).

    + 15+ years of experience in Industrial Hygiene and/or HSE, including 10+ years in-field experience in chemical, petrochemical, or other manufacturing industries.

    + Experience in developing Industrial Hygiene Objectives and implementing strategies and tracking systems.

    + Experience leading a project team to resolve complex enterprise wide risks

    + Professional certification (i.e. Certified Industrial Hygienist or country equivalent)

    + Proficiency in exposure assessment techniques, hazard identification, and risk assessment methodologies.

    + Experience with industrial hygiene software.

    + Planning and conducting exposure monitoring campaigns.

    + Calibration and use of equipment (air sampling pumps, dosimeters, exposure monitoring software).

    + Development and maintenance of Industrial Hygiene Risk Assessment tools.

    + Knowledge of IH topics, including exposure assessment, radiation, respiratory protection, hearing conservation, and PPE.

    + Flexibility/ Ability to deal with change

    + Ability to work in different environments, including industrial and office settings

    + Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

    + Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.

    + Competitive salary and benefits package

    + The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $139,600 to $174,500 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

    + 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations
