    Workforce transformation is one of the key challenges facing organizations today and skilling is crucial to ensuring those companies evolve at the pace their industry expects. We are looking for a leader of Workforce Skilling Futures who will collaborate with industry leaders, teams across Microsoft, and academic minds to build the strategy that most effectively helps companies build their market advantage through employee and leadership skills development.

     

    In this role, you will focus heavily on building Artificial Intelligence (AI) fluency by creating unique learning experiences for both companies and individual learners across the current and future workforce. As the Senior Director, Workforce Skilling Futures, you will be responsible for leading and driving the vision and direction of workforce skilling initiatives, which includes strategic planning and partnership, market insights, success measurement and data insights, research, and thought leadership in the learning space. This team will also be responsible for leading several special programs that incubate new learning initiatives and driving core standards into how we drive skilling at scale through both our direct and partnership channels. You will also work closely with our field landing and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to provide thought leadership opportunities across our various segments of learners.

    Qualifications

    Required/Minimum Qualifications

    + Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND/OR 7+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, HR, customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management

    + OR Master's Degree or equivalent AND/OR 5+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, human resources (HR), customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 6+ years people management experience

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + 6+ years working in the technology industry or sector.

    + 6+ years experience leading and driving the direction of workforce skilling initiatives (including strategic planning and partnership, market insights, success measurement and data insights, research, and thought leadership).

    + 1+ year(s) experience working in AI.

    Additional** **or** **Preferred** **Qualifications

    + Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND 10+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, HR, customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management

    + OR Master's Degree or equivalent AND 8+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, human resources (HR), customer success, collection management, research/restoration evaluation, industry, or program/project management

    + OR equivalent experience.

    + Microsoft Fundamentals, Coaching (e.g., International Coaching Federation), Project and/or Program Management Professional, archival, or a similar certificate.

    + Demonstrates commitment to career development and continuous or consistent learning through formal and informal efforts (e.g., change management, design thinking, management training, online courses).

     

    Integrated Marketing M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $154,500 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $199,600 - $299,400 per year.
