Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with Architects and SAS Organizations: Gather requirements for OEMs, test laptop models, and ensure they meet SAS/SAW standards.

+ Software Development and Management: Develop, Automate, manage, and update software for SAS services.

+ Incident Response and Management: Lead incident responses, perform root-cause analysis, and implement post-incident improvements.

+ Own, triage, and resolve production issues with a focus on communication, learning, and sharing.

+ Security Awareness: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with security policies.

+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams to standardize laptops and ensure smooth operations.

+ Performance Review and Improvement: Review system/service performance, identify improvement areas, and enhance user experience.

+ Customer and Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.

+ Upholding Organizational Culture and Values: Promote and uphold organizational culture and values, exercising cross-team cooperation and influence.

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications** :

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience in Full Stack Programming in .Net, C#

+ OR equivalent experience.

+ 1+ year(s) of industry experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell

+ 1+ years of experience in Operating System Concepts and Identity Access Management.

+ 1+ years of industry experience managing large-scale engineering services, components, or critical feature areas within production environments

+ 1+ years of experience with Live Site Management, including incident response, and service reliability improvements.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

**Citizenship & Citizenship Verification:** This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

+ OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

+ OR equivalent experience.

+ Hands-on experience in networking and infrastructure troubleshooting.

+ Enterprise scale experience in virtualization and certificate services.

+ Knowledge of system level programming (C, C++, VC++ or equivalent)

+ Awareness and understanding of core cybersecurity principles and practices

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
