    As our Admissions Coordinator, you'll be the welcoming face for potential residents and their families, guiding them through every step of their journey with us. From handling inquiries and leading tours to collaborating with our care teams and coordinating apartment turnovers, your role will be at the heart of creating a warm and seamless experience. Plus, you'll manage the behind-the-scenes details like resident billing and vendor coordination, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

    Photo: The Senior Housing Team celebrating Halloween! As a Senior Housing/Assisted Living Admissions Coordinator, you'll:

     

    + Serve as the primary contact for prospective residents and families inquiring about senior housing and assisted living.

    + Maintain a system for tracking inquiries and tours.

    + Generate leads; facilitate campus tours for prospective residents; follow up to assist residents/families with questions/concerns, and provide information to aid in decision-making.

    + Coordinate with the nursing team to properly assess the cares necessary for new residents.

    + Complete necessary paperwork for new residents and families.

    + Input monthly billing charges, and monitor receivables for the community.

    + Encourage community involvement from all residents. Assist in monitoring changes in the status of residents and communicate issues of concern that are observed to the RN Case Manager.

    + Coordinate apartment turnovers to prepare for new residents. Evaluate the condition of carpets, walls, cabinetry, lighting, window treatments, etc. Work with CM staff and outside vendors to prepare units for rental.

    + Report to and communicate any issues/concerns with the Senior Housing Operations Manager.

    + Maintain positive working relationships with other departments.

    + Participate in on-call rotation within the department.

    + Assist with large housing resident social events as needed.

    + Complete all other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Post-HS degree

    + Experience in sales preferred, particularly with rental properties

    + Proficient in billing and basic accounting

    + Proficient in computers and clerical skills

    + Experience working with seniors or geriatric population preferred but not required

    + Excellent communication skills. Must be comfortable working with residents and families on a daily basis. Must display a great deal of patience, consideration, and tact when dealing with residents, families, visitors, and community members.

    + Excellent organizational and time management skills

    + Must be able to work independently and use independent judgment when making decisions

    + Genuine interest in geriatrics, physically challenged or psychosocially impaired persons and must be willing to work closely with all residents to make each individual's life more satisfying, interesting, and meaningful.

    + Must be energetic and show initiative toward the program, finding new and innovative ideas to share and implement those using available resources.

    This is a full-time position, working primarily days with an occasional evening or weekend dependent on tours or special events.
