    Founded in 1921, Straub Benioff Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.

     

    The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, medications and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effective medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care.

     

    As the Clinical Pharmacist, you will help to ensure that our Pharmacy provides outstanding pharmaceutical services to Straub patients and their families. In this role, you will oversee the appropriate use of drugs in our health care practice by evaluating drug/dosage patterns and potential adverse drug reactions, and providing accurate information to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff. We are looking for someone meticulous with a demonstrated interest in pharmaceutical investigation, excellent customer service and communication skills and a commitment to our vision of delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

    **Minimum Qualifications:** Current Hawai’i Pharmacist license. Two (2) years inpatient pharmacist or related experience or completion of pharmacy residency training.
