What You Will Contribute:
Are you looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment?
Our first shift (6:30am-3:00pm M-F) Assembly position offers the chance to be part of the end-to-end assembly process for cutting-edge meter and meter-reading technology products. From building and assembling to testing, injection molding, and packaging, you'll play a critical role in ensuring top-quality products reach customers. This role will be located at our clean, air-conditioned Milwaukee facility.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to rotate through different workstations, keeping every day fresh and engaging. Whether working with specialized equipment or automated machinery, your contributions will directly impact production efficiency and customer satisfaction. Plus, safety and cleanliness are key-helping create a well-organized and secure workspace for success.

This position is responsible for overall assembly process, including building, assembling, testing, injection molding and packaging a variety of meters or meter reading technology products. The work is completed through manual assembly, utilization of various specialty pieces of equipment, or automated machinery. Employees regularly rotate through various workstations within their home department and occasionally work in other areas of the facility depending on workload and customer orders. Responsible for observing safe work habits and maintaining cleanliness of work area.
Job Duties:
+ Assemble, test, and package meter products following safety and quality standards.
+ Operate accuracy and leak test equipment to ensure product compliance.
+ Use computers to check schedules, access work procedures, and update job status.
+ Operate plastic injection molding machines and perform secondary operations like degating and sprue removal.
+ Conduct visual and measurement-based quality checks using inspection tools.
+ Assemble and test electro-mechanical units, including PC board assemblies.
+ Use various tools such as soldering irons, presses, and ultrasonic welders.
+ Ensure proper function and accuracy of assembled registers.
+ Operate multiple machines for part production and finishing.
+ Perform quality checks using inspection tools and coordinate measuring machines.
+ Maintain production output based on dispatch lists or schedules.
Education and Experience:
+ High School Degree/GED preferred
+ 0-1 years of related experience preferred
Qualifications:
+ Ability to pass internal forklift and hazmat training required
+ Basic proficiency with computers required
+ Basic skills in math required
+ Basic ability to read, write, and speak English preferred

+ Must be able to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.
+ Must be able to pass an audiogram test.
