    Introduction

     

    Your role and responsibilities

    Senior Data Scientist, IBM Corporation, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina:

    * Create models that predict at-risk systems for quality leads to take proactive action leveraging machine learning.

    * Collaborate with Quality Leads to set targets, create metrics, and generate reports that showcase product performance against predefined targets.

    * Provide strategic insights for investment and divestment decisions.

    * Work with Guild teams on AI (Artificial Intelligence) and predictive modeling projects to develop and test multiple machine learning models for business solutions.

    * Monitor AI tools and ensure they are compliant with IT Security Standards and data governance standards.

    * Extract, manipulate, and analyze large amount of datasets using Python and SQL to identify relationships and trends impacting business profitability.

    * Create chatbots that searches large numbers of documents to answer user questions using large language models with Retrieval-Augmented Generation.

    * Communicate complex concepts, reports, and the results of the models created to technical and non-technical (executive) audiences.

    * Onboard new hardware and software products into the Smarter Data Quality Management tool to track performance at client sites.

    * Coordinate with Service Planners and Quality Development Core Teams (QDCTs) during product release cycles to ensure all data requirements are met.

    * Train and mentor Data Science interns, build their skills and identify potential new hires.

    * Update the Smarter Data Quality Management tool with EOS dates and product name changes, informing support teams of current support statuses.

    * Use text analytics to refine search rules and enhance text finding accuracy.

    * Utilize: Python, Structured Query Language, Data Visualization, Machine Learning/AI, GitHub.

     

    Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Economics, Data Analytics or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Data Scientist or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Python, Structured Query Language, Data Visualization, Machine Learning/AI, GitHub. $164814 to $212800 per year. Full time. H210.

    Required technical and professional expertise
