    As a **Principal Product Manager** focused on **Agentic AI Automation** , you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of AI-powered agents designed to automate complex, repetitive, and manual workflows across Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery (LMD) Business. You will partner closely with engineering, data science, design, operations, and business teams to deliver intelligent systems that transform how Walmart LMD operates—making it faster, smarter, and more efficient.

     

    You’ll be responsible for identifying high-impact automation opportunities, defining product requirements, and driving the development of agentic AI systems that reason, plan, and act across internal tools and external platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Define and lead the product strategy for agentic AI that automates cross-functional workflows and business processes.

    + Partner with operations teams across last mile to identify manual workflows that can be reimagined using AI agents.

    + Collaborate with AI/ML researchers and engineers to build and deploy autonomous systems that can take actions across APIs, UIs, and internal tools.

    + Own product roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of intelligent agents—from MVP to scaled deployment.

    + Establish clear success metrics and continuously evaluate the performance and impact of automated solutions.

    + Champion responsible AI principles including safety, transparency, and human-in-the-loop oversight.

    + Drive cross-functional alignment with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Data Governance.

    + You have deep experience in AI/ML product development, especially in building intelligent agents or automation tools.

    + You understand the challenges of deploying AI in real-world environments—data quality, edge cases, observability, and trust.

    + You’re a systems thinker who can model complex workflows and identify opportunities to abstract and automate.

    + You thrive in ambiguity, can independently identify opportunities, and lead through influence.

    + You have a strong product sense, are obsessed with user needs, and deliver with urgency.

    + You care deeply about ethical AI and responsible deployment.

     

    What you'll bring...

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).

    + 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years in AI/ML, automation, or intelligent systems.

    + Proven track record of shipping innovative software products at scale.

    + Strong technical fluency with modern AI techniques (e.g., LLMs, RAG, agents, workflow orchestration).

    + Experience working with engineering and data science teams in agile environments.

    + Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

    + Prior experience as a software engineer/data scientist/data analyst

    + Experience building or integrating agentic systems (LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI tools, etc.).

    + Prior experience in retail, supply chain, logistics, or enterprise automation.

    Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
