    **Location:** Falcon & Peyton, CO

    **Rate:** $18.62/HR

    **Available Schedule:** Sat & Sun: 7AM - 3PM

     

    At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

    What Your Day May Look Like:

    + Greet client employee’s, customer’s, vendor’s and guests.

    + Request receipt’s from customers as they exit site.

    + Conduct internal foot patrol when needed to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.

    + Monitor entrance/exits, provides guidance as needed to client employees and customers.

    + Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via client system system.

    + Maintain access control.

    + Provide an atmosphere in which all client employees, customers, and Management know their needs are being met.

    + Present a good image to the client, client employees and customers.

    + Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property.

    + Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others.

    + Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, Company Management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site.

    + Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.

    + Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

    Position Requirements:

    + 18 years of age or older.

    + High School Diploma or GED Required.

    + Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.

    + Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

    + Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.

    + Understands the nature of customer service and interactions with the public.

    + Must have Day / Swing shift availability.

    + Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

    + Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.

    + Must be able to interact with and greet customers, or client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.

    + Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and reporting alarms.

    + Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist customers, vendors, public, Asset Protection, and Office Management.

    + Must be open to communication and feedback from client, and Office Management.

    + Must be able to adhere to 15 minute, and lunch breaks.

    + Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required.

    + Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.

    + Must be able to remain organized and professional.

    + Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.

    + Must provide high quality customer service in-person, and via radio.

    + Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver’s License and clean driving record.

    + Must be able to obtain Colorado Springs Guard Card license and maintain it every year.

    + Must be able to attend in-person interview, and in-person orientation if hired in Colorado Springs.

    + Security, military, or law enforcement experience a plus!
