Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects across various industries. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

**Location:** Mason, OH

**Pay Range:** $37.32 - $39.94 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Prepare mechanical engineering drawings in collaboration with engineering specialists using CAD systems.

+ Deliver in-house assignments as per the agreed timeline and set quality standards for 2D/3D CAD work.

+ Support continuous improvement of project processes and product/system design through lessons learned feedback.

+ Conduct risk and opportunity assessments during the site commissioning phase.

+ Interact with internal and external customers on scheduled project reviews and support them on requests.

What's Needed?

+ 3-5 years of industrial experience in mechanical design or related fields.

+ Proficiency in CAD software for preparing accurate drawings and 3D modeling.

+ Experience in managing multiple project elements, including scope, budget, and schedule.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with engineers from different disciplines.

+ Strong communication skills to foster an inclusive team culture.
