Description

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our client's team on a contract basis. This role is based in Portland, Oregon, and involves supporting various administrative and accounting tasks, including invoicing, inventory tracking, and general office duties. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and ensure all financial data is properly recorded.

• Assist with inventory management tasks, including tracking and updating records.

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, as well as greet and assist visitors professionally.

• Perform data entry tasks with precision, maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

• Set up customer accounts and manage other ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.

• Use Microsoft Excel to create, update, and analyze spreadsheets for reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets effectively.

• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all assigned tasks.

• Experience with administrative duties, including mail handling and visitor management.

• Ability to communicate professionally and work collaboratively with landlords and vendors.

• Familiarity with invoicing and inventory tracking processes.

• Competence in using Microsoft Outlook for scheduling and communication.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
