Adecco Permanent Recruitment is looking for** **Fire Alarm Service Technicians (Level III). You will** **be leading complex service projects, complex fire alarm system programming, providing mentorship to junior technicians, and assuming a more autonomous role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
+ Lead and oversee comprehensive inspections, advanced testing, and in-depth troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to ensure optimal performance.
+ Independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in fire alarm systems, including interconnected systems and networked fire alarm/mass notification systems.
+ Manage and maintain detailed records of service activities, including system analyses, recommendations for improvements, and redline drawings for as-built preparation.
+ Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance, training, and support in executing service tasks and ensuring quality service delivery.
+ Participate in project planning, system design, and implementation efforts to enhance fire alarm system functionality and compliance with NFPA 72 and other applicable codes.
+ Conduct site surveys for fire alarm system upgrades, develop bills of materials, labor projections, and schedules, and perform pre-testing and final acceptance testing with Fire Marshal.
+ Collaborate with colleagues, building owners, and managers to deliver seamless service, address system deficiencies, and optimize performance.
+ Stay informed about industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to uphold compliance and industry standards.
+ Perform complex programming of various types of fire alarm systems and troubleshoot issues to maintain system functionality.
+ Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality service delivery, and customer satisfaction in all service activities.
You have
+ Minimum of high school degree and seven years of related experience or two years technology degree and five years related experience.
+ NICET Fire Alarm Systems Level II or pass NICET II exam within 90 days of employment.
+ Ability to obtain US clearance.
+ Excellent attention to detail and professional work ethic.
+ Commitment to excellence and a high quality of work.
+ Knowledge of NFPA 72 and OSHA Requirements
+ Ability to function in a controlled, effective manner under stress.
+ Strong desire to continuously increase your skill set and take on more responsibility.
+ Excellent communication skills with customers, other field personnel, office staff and sub-contractors.
+ Excellent decision-making skills.
+ Strong leadership skills
+ Must be able to pass a background check.
+ Must be able to pass pre-employment AND random drug screening.
+ Must have valid driver's license, good driving records to operate a company-owned vehicle as part of this job requirement.
+ Must have a reliable means of transportation to arrive on job sites which vary based on the customers' locations and schedules

**Pay Details:** $39.00 to $45.00 per hour
