Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as a Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in supporting industries such as E-Commerce, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, and Grocery/Retail through the manufacturing of corrugated boxes. We are seeking skilled technicians, both local and traveling, to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our machinery.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery, including corrugators, printing machines, conveyors, Plex-O machines, and die cutting machines.

+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting on sensors, relays, motors, switches, 480v, 3-phase systems.

+ Engage in mechanical troubleshooting involving bearings, lubrications, preventative maintenance, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.

+ Diagnose and repair AC/DC motors.

+ Install new or repaired machinery as required.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders for specific repairs.

+ Demonstrate lock out/tag out experience.

+ Carry out PLC troubleshooting as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical troubleshooting with sensors, relays, motors, switches, 480v, 3-phase systems.

+ Mechanical troubleshooting of bearings, lubrications, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Proficiency in performing preventative maintenance.

+ Ownership of basic hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ PLC experience, particularly with Siemens.

+ Robotics experience.

+ Experience in corrugated manufacturing.

Work Environment

Work in a clean facility that is not temperature-controlled, so it can get hot during the summer. You will be expected to wear PPE, including steel-toed boots. Shifts are structured for 8-10 hour days and 6 days a week, with shift premiums offered.

The pay range for this position is $58281.00 - $80454.00/yr.
