    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    In this role, candidates will operate both manual and automated machines to assist in the production of engine heads. Responsibilities include loading parts into machines, following work instructions, collecting necessary materials and tools, running parts, and ensuring product quality using micrometers and other measurement tools.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate manual and automated machines for production.

    + Load parts into machines and follow detailed work instructions.

    + Collect necessary materials and tools for production tasks.

    + Run parts through machines and ensure they meet specifications using micrometers and other measurement tools.

    + Perform inspections to guarantee product quality.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in using micrometers and other measurement tools.

    + Experience in machine operation and inspection.

    + Ability to read and interpret work instructions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic computer skills, including typing and email communication.

    + Comfortable using hand and power tools.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Preferred: 6+ months of production experience.

    + Preferred: 6+ months of hand/power tool usage.

    + Preferred: 6+ months of computer usage in a manufacturing environment.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is lively and welcoming, albeit loud and somewhat dirty due to oil and grease associated with engines. Despite this, the shop maintains a relatively clean condition. The company offers training in various areas and flexibility in finding the best role for employees. The first shift schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 4:00pm, and Friday from 6:00am to 10:30am.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baldwin, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
