Summary
The Senior Analyst, Benefits Systems and Compliance is responsible for overseeing the setup, functioning, and optimization of our benefits systems. This role also ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, drives continuous improvement in benefits systems and processes, and partners cross-functionally to enhance employee experience with our benefits platforms. The ideal candidate brings subject matter expertise, a data-driven mindset, and a proactive approach to benefits innovation and compliance.
This position will support our Human Resources team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office location in Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
V** **endor and System Governance and Functioning:
+ Oversee relationships with vendors on the setup, maintenance, and optimization of Benefits systems.
+ Manage system updates, testing, and the optimization of benefits administration platforms to ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
+ Lead audits and data integrity initiatives to ensure accurate eligibility, enrollment, and reporting.
+ Collaborate with external vendors, internal IT and HRIS teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless integration between systems.
+ Monitor interfaces with SAP/MCC to check for errors, research issues, and implement solutions.
Compliance Administration:
+ Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits related to benefits compliance.
+ Manage Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance, including form preparation, IRS submissions, and responses to inquiries.
+ Coordinate with vendors on RXDC filings to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
+ Manage the preparation and filling of H&W 5500 forms.
+ Coordinate distribution of SARs.
+ Manage additional compliance filings as required by regulatory bodies.
+ Oversee 401(k) compliance, including 5500 filings, NDT reporting and data resolution, and monitoring Fidelity interfaces for accuracy on Net-Benefits.
Reporting and Data Analysis:
+ Provide reporting and insights on plan utilization, cost drivers, and employee engagement to support benefits administration and compliance.
+ Provide recommendations based on data analysis and trends.
Collaboration with Benefits Analysts
+ Work closely with Benefits Analysts to monitor system performance and resolve issues.
+ Develop processes that make the most efficient and effective use of system capabilities.
+ Maintain updated SOPs to allow backup and cross training.
Employee Experience and Communication
+ Support the development of benefits communications, including annual enrollment campaigns and educational resources.
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with equivalent work experience is required
+ Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration and compliance
+ Demonstrated expertise in benefits compliance, systems management, and vendor oversight
+ Proficiency in SAP or other relevant HRIS/HCM systems required, BenefitSolver experience preferred
+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
+ Must have advanced-level skills in Microsoft Office products (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS PowerPoint)
+ Experience with ACA compliance and filings is preferred
+ Knowledge of 5500 forms and audit processes is preferred
+ Knowledge of benefits regulatory and compliance requirements is preferred
