Description
Responsibilities:
+ Perform diversified light and heavy assembly of mechanical parts and components for a wide variety of both small and large enclosed drive units.
+ Participate in field service calls to customer locations to tear down and analyze complex enclose drive units.
+ Work from complex drawings and blueprints, sketches; hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical diagrams; parts lists, operations sheets, specifications and instructions to plan work operations, including sequence of work.
+ Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
+ Maintain required time, production and quality records
+ Determine and report any inefficiencies, defective materials, unusual conditions and machining issues
+ Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Position Requirements
Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Prefer 3-5 years' experience in a similar capacity
+ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications required
+ Use and interpret precision measuring instruments
+ Good math, language, reading skills
+ Analytical skills
+ Attention to detail
+ Visual Acuity
+ Physical stamina and strength
+ Some lifting of various weights, both assisted and unassisted
+ Drive and Operate Forklift; may be required
+ Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills
+ Shop environment, exposed to shop elements
+ May work in tight and/or cramped spaces
+ Walking, standing, lifting, stooping, reaching
+ Handle tools and assemble mechanical components
+ Use crane or other device for heavy lifting
+ Responsible for the safety and clean-up of own area
+ Teamwork and communication skills
+ Must be authorized to work in the US
