Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
NBCUniversal is seeking a Director to join our Product, Measurement & Data Collaboration team. This pivotal role involves engineering and deploying advanced measurement and optimization solutions that empower our advertising platforms, enabling more informed investment decisions for our partners.
We're seeking an individual with a robust technical foundation in data engineering, software development, and data science, coupled with strong product strategy capabilities. You will be responsible for crafting and implementing comprehensive measurement and optimization capabilities, ensuring their seamless operation across the entire advertising ecosystem.
As a key leader, you will articulate the technical roadmap and vision for our performance measurement and optimization products. Collaboration with data science, engineering, product management, sales, and strategy teams will be essential to deliver solutions that yield significant business impact and enable truly performance-driven media transactions.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the engineering, development, and deployment of advanced measurement and optimization solutions, ensuring their seamless operation and integration across the entire advertising ecosystem.
+ Spearhead rapid prototyping and Proof of Concepts (POCs), drawing on extensive experience in software development, data engineering, and data science to design, build, and validate end-to-end product features and capabilities for strategic platform advancements.
+ Leverage cutting-edge data collaboration technologies, including Conversion APIs (CAPIs), Data Clean Rooms, and Sketch Objects, to empower evolving business needs and proactively identify new market opportunities.
+ Define and articulate a clear technical roadmap and strategic vision for performance measurement and optimization products, guiding cross-functional development efforts.
+ Foster deep and effective collaboration with Data Science, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Strategy teams to deliver solutions that generate significant business impact and enable truly performance-driven media transactions.
+ 6+ years of experience in product management, data science, or software engineering, with a focus on measurement and optimization in the digital media or ad tech industry.
+ Robust technical foundation in data engineering, software development, and data science.
+ Proficiency in data science and decision science frameworks, with hands-on experience applying machine learning and statistical modeling to real-world business challenges.
+ Strong product strategy capabilities, including defining and articulating clear technical roadmaps and strategic visions for complex data products.
+ Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
+ Strategic thinker with the ability to bridge product strategy, system architecture, and business outcomes in a complex, evolving marketplace.
+ Ability to drive solutions that yield significant business impact and enable performance-driven media transactions.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $130,000 - $200,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
