Join our company and be part of an innovative team that’s First in Food. Location Description Michael Foods, Inc. located in Wakefield, Nebraska is known as the Baseball Capital of Nebraska. Milton G. Waldbaum and Dan Gardner founded our egg-processing business in 1950 here in Wakefield. Our location raises chickens and produces tankers of liquid egg to be consumed by our processing facilities. Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for completing daily duties while prioritizing and handling a wide range of other tasks that arise periodically through the day. They assist managers and supervisors upon request as well as perform other administrative duties as needed within HR & Safety (tacking, ordering, etc.) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES Compile, update, generate and distribute reports to appropriate parties Perform administrative duties as needed Assist in ordering safety supplies Sort and inventory materials received and communicate with appropriate departments Aid with training & presentations (i.e. preparation, room set-up, projector, laptop, etc.) Help with Kronos reimaging biometrics & attendance support. Utilizing spreadsheets to track paperwork and processes for Safety & HR. Assist on Safety Teams through the SRMP process Help lead the Farm Live Well Work Well team Maintain the monthly Farm Newsletter. Organizes and assists with Employee & Community events. Completes daily attendance (update tracking, generate time off forms, send out attendance notices) Create POs, Manage and compile paperwork (invoices and packing slips) for HR, Farms, & Safety Performs other duties as required Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED: Problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills a must. Ability to work independently. Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Print Shop) ) Excellent oral and written communication skills. Professionally generates and formats reports. Organized and detailed-oriented. Ability to juggle a multitude of tasks. Must be professional in dealing with personnel issues including confidential information. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Ability to maintain records and filing systems. Previously held an Office / Administrative position Preferred language bilingual with English & Spanish
