    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global is looking for 3 Field Engineers to join their team. They will lead efforts to install microwave/satellite radio and network equipment in racks and on towers throughout the US. The Engineers will also be responsible for designing and configuring microwave systems and conducting site surveys, creating plans/reports, ordering, testing, and packing/shipping equipment

    Skills and Requirements

    3 years of experience installing radio or networking equipment in the field or lab environment

    5 years of experience with 2 of the following technical areas

     

    - Basic RF concepts, RF Microwave radios/hardware, and waveguide

     

    -Telco (Analog/T1) lines

     

    -Networking (Protocols, Routing, Subnetting, etc.)

     

    Field work installation experience with racked equipment installations, building and running network and RF cables internal and external to buildings.

     

    Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

     

    Ability to travel 15-20% telecommunication background

    RF Path Modeling knowledge (using RF modeling tools, such as LanPlanner, or ICS Telecom) null
