    Where You’ll Work

    This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

    What You’ll Do

    This position will manage the Pediatric Learning Solutions’ (PLS) software development life cycle, ensuring smooth transitions between coding, testing, and development. The project manager will manage QA/UA testing process to ensure the software is thoroughly tested and issues are addressed before deployment. This role will be critical to establishing processes for ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement for PLS software products based on user needs.

     

    + Plan and organize software project tasks, helping the PLS software development team break down stories and tasks that outline the software project’s scope, timeline, and deliverables.

    + Facilitate regular scrum meetings with the software development team, monitoring progress during active sprints and providing support through identified challenges or roadblocks.

    + Ensure timely and clear communication with team members, stakeholders, and external clients, updating stakeholders with sprint progress reports and any scope changes and coordinating with team members and stakeholders to ensure everyone has a clear understanding of the work to be completed.

    + Proactively identify and report potential risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to address them.

    + Work closely with the software development and QA/UA testing teams to develop and deploy test plans, execute test cases and track defects to ensure the software is thoroughly tested, and issues are addressed before deployment.

    + Establish processes for managing bug fixes, updates, and enhancements gathering user feedback and helping to continuously improve PLS software products based on user needs.

    + Ensure new software products are included in release management documentation and communication processes.

    + Ensure release notes for the various existing software products are generated and documented appropriately.

    Required Experience:

    What You’ll Bring to CHA

    Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying:

    + Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) in information systems or related field or commensurate experience preferred.

    + Minimum two years of experience in SDLC project management.

    + Minimum one year of experience using JIRA or similar SDLC project management software.

    + Minimum one year of experience with release management.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to grammar and proofreading.

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    + Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

    + Ability to work professionally with staff and members of all levels.

    + Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    This pay range shown is a guideline. Min: $80,000 Max: $160,000 Compensation is based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
