Description We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex initiatives and drive successful outcomes for our organization in Richmond, Virginia. This is a long-term contract position that requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage stakeholders, vendors, and project teams effectively. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project documentation, process improvement, and effective communication to ensure timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and coordinate all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery to meet organizational goals.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, maintain, and present project documentation, including progress reports, budget tracking, and procurement plans.
• Oversee vendor management and procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of services and products.
• Conduct training sessions and create presentations to communicate project updates and best practices.
• Utilize tools like Microsoft Excel and Word to optimize reporting and documentation processes.
• Implement effective change management strategies to adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Collaborate with partners and team members to ensure seamless integration of cloud technologies and asset management.
• Monitor project progress and address issues proactively to maintain timelines and quality standards.
• Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives within the project framework. Requirements • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering successful projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with stakeholders and project teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other tools for reporting and documentation.
• Expertise in budget processes, procurement, and vendor management.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and asset management practices.
• Ability to create and deliver impactful presentations and training materials.
• Strong knowledge of project management best practices and change management strategies.
• Experience in process optimization and program management is highly desirable.
