Summary
This position is responsible for providing scheduling for service, repair, maintenance, and inspections for the existing Commercial Business base. These services are critical for the ongoing customer service experience and satisfaction of the account base. The department has primary responsibility for customer retention through the responsiveness and provision of repair, Inspection, support, and maintenance operations and service.
Essential Functions
+ Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to address customer requests and schedule service calls. Handle e-mail and queue requests to schedule service calls. Support the other internal customers (installation, sales, and monitoring) with handling and resolution of customer issues
+ Provide an excellent customer experience with conflict resolution skills and assist field technicians with support for service calls. Order equipment required for service calls. Build relationships with property managers and other business professionals to ensure retention, promote customer satisfaction and loyalty
+ Provide basic instruction and troubleshooting to customers. Work with internal tech support (Virtual Assistance) to provide more advanced training and programming
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
+ Strong customer service acumen and conflict resolution skills
+ Advanced technical knowledge with different types of security systems
+ Knowledge of Smart Home security operations is a plus
+ Advanced written and verbal communication skills to provide professional engagement with business owners
+ Ability to focus and multi-task in a fast paced environment as part of a team
Education & Experience / Licenses & Certification
+ High school diploma or GED
+ Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree, preferred
+ Three or more years’ experience in a scheduling and/or technical call center
+ Technical Orientation and computer literacy
+ Moderate to advanced typing ability
Working Environment/Minimum Physical Requirements
This is primarily an office job. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending and lifting (up to 15 pounds). Approximately 98% of time is spent using a computer and telephone.
