    We’re looking for a motivated Quotations Analyst, responsible for preparing customer quotations based upon customer supplied market baskets, usage reports, etc. This position is responsible for determining acceptable margins for new bids, quotes and proposals.

     

    Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This position will require being in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and working remotely on Monday and Friday. We offer 401k plus vision, dental and medical benefits, as well as a paid holiday and PTO package.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manages the quotation process from initial request to business attainment.

    + Performs profitability analysis, based upon information supplied, to determine pricing.

    + Uses historical quote data to make case studies to support pricing decisions.

    + Maintains knowledge of current technology for the product lines.

    + Maintains knowledge of competitors' activities, promotions, pricing, new products, etc.

    + Interprets data to analyze potential accounts in order to present a competitive bid.

    + Maintains historical bid information.

    + Analyzes bid and quote win/loss ratio.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in processing bids, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization.

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

    + PC literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, SAP, Heiler HPM, Ad-Hoc report writing.

    + Attention to detail and organizational aptitude required.

    + Knowledge of commonly-used business concepts, practices, and procedures within industrial distribution.

     

    Our salary range for this role is $58,100- $68,700 including a full benefits package.
