Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused **Loss Prevention and Safety Associate (LPA)** to join a dynamic warehouse operation. The LPA is responsible for protecting people and property by promoting a safety-first culture, preventing shrink, and responding effectively to incidents. This role includes site surveillance, access control, safety auditing, and supporting emergency procedures in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Security Monitoring
+ Conduct daily screening and access control for all associates, visitors, vendors, and contractors.
+ Monitor physical security of the site, including perimeter, trailer yard, and parking areas.
+ Operate the guard shack and manage trailer check-ins/outs, ensuring compliance with entry procedures.
+ Administer visitor management processes per established security protocols.
Incident Response & Prevention
+ Conduct security and safety audits; identify and communicate risks and policy violations.
+ Address safety concerns and fire hazards proactively; escalate issues when necessary.
+ Support investigations related to theft, workplace incidents, and policy violations.
+ Utilize technology, tools, and reporting systems to monitor, record, and analyze potential loss-related trends.
Team Collaboration
+ Work closely with warehouse departments to address safety and loss prevention matters.
+ Provide clear communication on incidents and investigations to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
+ Support emergency response efforts and collaborate with first responders as needed.
+ Promote a team-based environment and assist with conflict de-escalation.

Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GED required
+ Ability to operate access control systems, CCTV, radios, and related security technology.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry experience required.
+ Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and warehouse safety practices preferred.
+ Must pass required assessments (Word II, Excel I, and basic Math).
+ Ladder certification required (can be obtained post-hire).
+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings if needed.
+ Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, security, or safety role is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
+ Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and climbing stairs/ladders.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
+ Consistent use of audio equipment, visual inspections, and interaction with electronic systems.
+ Requires onsite, full-time attendance to support in-person safety and loss prevention efforts.
**Pay Details:** $18.92 per hour
