Must be able to work any of our 4 shifts. They are 12-hour rotating shifts.

The main purpose and function of the Mill Utility Operator is to become qualified in all production positions and safely perform those tasks.

Specific responsibilities may include:

+ Safely follow and perform the duties listed of the Packer Operator job description.

+ Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Lab Technician job description.

+ Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Bulk Product and Packaging Specialist job description.

+ Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Loader Operator job description.

+ Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Padman job description.

+ Safely follow and perform the duties listed on the Mill Operator job description.

+ Cover all of the job positions above as needed.

+ Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to API Specification Q1, 9th Edition requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Experience:

+ No experience required – will train on the job.

Knowledge and Skills:

+ Forklift handling skills.

+ Operation of both simple and computerized packaging equipment.

+ Laboratory Procedures.

+ Record keeping.

+ Understanding of car loading equipment and plant production flows.

+ Maintain accurate account of production and material used.

+ Frontend loader and bobcat operation.

+ General mechanical knowledge of loader, crusher and conveyance equipment.

+ Operation of all milling and drying equipment.

+ Communication skills, including peer to peer and employee to supervisor communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

+ Rotating shift work.

+ Frequently work alone.

+ Subject to dust, noise and temperature variations.

+ Frequently work around machinery and mobile equipment.

+ Must meet deadlines.

+ Sitting, bending, standing, walking, 8-12 hours per day.

+ Frequently lifts up to 50# and occasionally up to 100#.

+ Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
