    About the Role

     

    Actalent is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our growing healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential clinical pharmacy services, ensuring the safe and effective preparation and dispensing of medications, sterile compounds, and medical supplies.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Evaluate and verify physician orders for accuracy and appropriateness

    + Compound sterile preparations in compliance with USP 797 standards

    + Dispense medications, infusion therapies, and administration equipment

    + Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations

    + Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient care

    + Perform pharmacy calculations and adhere to internal protocols

    + Ensure proper gowning and aseptic techniques in cleanroom environments

    Required Qualifications

    + College degree

    + Registered Pharmacist with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy

    + Minimum 6 months of IV compounding experience

    + General knowledge of USP 797 and sterile compounding procedures

    + Familiarity with IV products, infusion therapies, and aseptic techniques

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
