Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to support a healthy workload that will remain steady for the foreseeable future. This role involves working on land development and storm water management projects for higher education institutions, K-12 school districts, park & recreation in Baltimore city & county, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

+ Perform site layouts, grading, and utility profiling.

+ Develop storm erosion and sediment control plans.

+ Work on land development and storm water management projects.

+ Collaborate with a team on various projects across different sectors.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of experience in land development/storm water management design.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Having an EIT certification would be advantageous.

+ Demonstrates drive, initiative, and direction.

Work Environment

This is an in-office opportunity with traditional hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some flexibility to start earlier. All employees are expected to be present from 9 AM to 4 PM. You will have a direct report with 5-10 years of experience to serve as your mentor, managed by a team coordinator with 10-15 years of experience. The firm takes a collaborative approach to completing projects and offers plenty of room for growth. Employees can choose to be client-facing or focus strictly on production roles long term, and will be exposed to a variety of projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
