Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The technician will play a crucial role in supporting production by maintaining machinery, equipment, building, and grounds. The position requires ensuring all equipment complies with OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
+ Install and maintain equipment such as presses, CNCs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, air compressors, welders, induction heat systems, ABB robotic systems, water treatment equipment and controls, plumbing, and piping.
+ Maintain inventory and parts.
+ Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical components and control circuits.
+ Possess PLC experience, preferably with Allen-Bradley systems.
+ Apply knowledge and experience in rigging heavy equipment.
+ Exhibit strong reading, writing, and math skills comparable to a High School education.
Essential Skills
+ 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Basic understanding of electrical components.
+ Ability to work independently and autonomously.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in industrial maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
+ Skills in handling hydraulics, pumps, and motors.
+ Urgency and a strong work ethic are valued.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday-Friday from 1:45PM-9:45PM, with training on 1st shift for the initial 3-4 weeks from 5:45AM-2:15PM. As a main producer of steel horseshoes for the North American market, the facility is hot and humid, fostering a stable team environment with open culture, competitive wages, good benefits, and advancement opportunities. The production floor operates five lines with 83 total employees, including front office and sales staff. The maintenance department consists of one supervisor, one lead, one facilities manager, and seven team members.

This is a Permanent position based out of Forest Lake, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $73320.00/yr.
They provide medical, dental, and 401k as well.
Matching 401K up to 5%
50-75% paid medical benefits depending on the option chosen by the employee.
They are offering $1000 retention bonus upon 90 days and $1000 at 1 year mark.
They are offering Free Donut Fridays as well as $.25 per hour voucher for the snack vending machine.
if they work overtime on Saturday
PTO 2 weeks' vacation year one - can accrue more with each year.
