    Responsibilities

    Purpose

     

    Responsible for safely loading, unloading and moving materials in the plant.

     

    + Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or convey shipments

    + Assembles finished good orders and loads shipments based on established standard operating procedures

    + Prepares skids: straps, stretch wraps, weighs

    + Receives incoming shipments based on established standard operating procedures

    + Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders

    + Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials

    + Executes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors

    + Restocks corrugated and production’s needs

    + Works with Production and Customer Service departments

    + Assembles loads for other facilities as needed

    + Assists in training of new employees

    + Supports & complies with safety guidelines

    Qualifications

    + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

    + Good English writing & speaking skills

    + Basic math skills

    + Ability to work independently

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

    + Basic computer systems knowledge
