    Job Description Summary

    Under the direction of the MAC Tech Lead and Facilities Manager, The MAC Technician will perform a variety of work in the installation, breakdown, and/or relocation of office partitions and furniture. Position requires current Texas driver’s license.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    .

     

    + Pay: $18.50.

    + Schedule: Monday-Thursday (6:00am-4:00pm) Friday (6:00am-10:00am).

    + Assembles and installs modular office furniture and wall partitions.

    + Install or relocate office furniture.

    + Performs set-ups and breakdowns of tables and chairs for special events.

    + Hang bulletin boards, writing boards, and pictures.

    + Process all work order requests in a timely manner.

    + Lift and carry 50lbs without assistance and carry to 10 feet.

    + Read drawings and work from plans and specifications.

    + Proficient use of a variety of tools and machines used in the basic trades.

    + Understand and follow oral and written directions.

    + Establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

    + Meet schedules and timelines.

    + Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs.

    + Move materials around the facility using a company provided vehicle.

    + Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.

    + Requires attention to details, a pride in delivering excellent customer services, good organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

    + May assist with other Facilities related functions.

    + Assist with installation of IT equipment.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Three to five years, experience as a furniture installer in a commercial setting.

    + Familiar with furniture building and installation.

    + Experience with cubicle configuration, build and demo.

    + Ability to effectively communicate and respond to customer needs.

    + Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.

    + Requires attention to details, a pride in delivering excellent customer services, good organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

    Education and/or Experience

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience.
