Position: Supply Sustainment Instructor

Type: Full-Time

Travel: 20%

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Supply Sustainment Instructor to support U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) training efforts. This role involves delivering instruction and hands-on training to Army Reserve personnel on supply chain management, logistics systems, and sustainment operations, ensuring compliance with current Army policies and readiness standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Conduct classroom and practical instruction on Army supply and sustainment operations.

+ Train personnel on logistics and supply systems, including GCSS-Army and related applications.

+ Develop and update lesson plans, training materials, and evaluations in accordance with Army regulations.

+ Support the planning and execution of training events and logistics exercises.

+ Provide feedback and mentorship to improve unit supply operations and individual Soldier readiness.

+ Stay current on Army supply doctrine, policies (e.g., AR 710-2, AR 735-5), and best practices.

Required Skills and Abilities:

+ Must be a U.S. citizen

+ Must have and maintain a valid driver's license

+ Must have a successfully completed NACI background check

+ High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or higher preferred)

+ Minimum of five years of experience around military logistic operations or equivalent

+ Received official instructor courses form the military or civilian sectors

+ Have performed as an instructor for more than two years and provide qualifications and or certifications associated with the course work material

+ Must have experience associated with supply related end user role of GCSS-A

+ Must have knowledge with Power Business Intelligence and Decision Support Tool

+ Effective written and oral communications skills

+ Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work

+ Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The employee frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
