This analyst role provides critical administrative activities and supports the use of key program tools, ensuring program standards are upheld to facilitate the effective operation and governance of the Transformation Program.
The Governance Analyst position is a key support role within the Transformation Program, focusing on administrative, governance, and reporting functions. This individual will be responsible for maintaining program structures, managing communication channels, coordinating program meetings, and administering program tools, with a particular emphasis on supporting program reporting, data collection, analysis, and visualization to provide insights into program status, risks, issues, and dependencies for various stakeholders. The analyst will also contribute to process improvement and support program-level cadences and events like Program Increment (PI) planning.
What you'll do...
Program Administration:
+ Support program reporting by ensuring teams are following prescribed guidelines for work in Jira, specifically assisting with quality control and data cleansing in Jira
+ Collaborate with other Transformation Office team members to prepare for PI Planning events.
+ Support program communications, meeting coordination (including agendas, minutes, and action items)
+ Maintaining program organizational structures and rosters
+ Create and manage program-related Active Directory access management groups and SharePoint Administration
+ Upholding various RACI matrices related to governance
+ Assist in vendor and employee onboarding/offboarding processes
Reporting and Data Visualization Assistance:
+ Support the development of quality control reporting and data cleansing within Jira
+ Assist in creating Confluence and Jira dashboards and reports, utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, GCP-Looker) under guidance
Risk & Issue Management:
+ Support the ongoing identification, documentation, and resolution of program risks
+ Using Jira Dashboards, support visualization of risk metrics
Decisions & Change Management:
+ Enforce standards for decisions and change requests to ensure data accuracy in the Integrated Project Plan (IPP) and linked systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
+ Support the IPP change request process, ensuring impacts are assessed and communicated to dependent teams
+ Using Jira Dashboards, support visualization of metrics related to program decisions
Continuous Improvement:
+ Contribute to improving Transformation Office processes, templates, and tools related to planning and reporting
+ Explore opportunities for tool enhancement
You'll have...
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
+ Experience in program or project administration and support
+ Experience with formal change control, risk, and issue management
+ Familiarity with relevant project management tools and software (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, SharePoint)
+ Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
+ Strong organizational, interpersonal, and influencing capabilities
+ Ability to collect and analyze feedback to improve program processes and administration
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to various stakeholders
+ Experience creating and utilizing data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Jira dashboards, GCP-Looker)
