Senior Project Manager (Enterprise Projects | Banking & CRM Technology)

**Type:** 12-18 month contract

**Location:** Bryant Park, NYC

**Schedule:** 3x on site per week, 2 WFH

**Rate:** Based on Experience

We are seeking a **seasoned Senior Project Manager** to lead the full-cycle delivery of complex, enterprise-level initiatives within the Markets line of business. This role is ideal for a **PMBOK-aligned project leader** with strong experience driving end-to-end project execution—from project initiation and scope definition through planning, execution, monitoring, and successful closure.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale technology projects in financial services, particularly involving CRM platforms, and will act as the primary point of accountability for **timelines, budgets, scope, milestones, dependencies, and risks** . The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, planning acumen, and risk management capabilities to ensure successful outcomes in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects across the Markets business line.

+ Develop comprehensive **project charters, scope documents** , and detailed project plans aligned with business objectives.

+ Track and manage **timelines, budgets, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables** with a focus on quality and risk mitigation.

+ Drive structured **project governance** , reporting, and communication with senior leadership, sponsors, and cross-functional teams.

+ Identify, document, and manage **project risks and issues** , ensuring timely escalation and resolution.

+ Lead cross-functional teams using a blend of **Agile and traditional project management frameworks** (e.g., PMBOK, SAFe).

+ Utilize tools like **JIRA** for project tracking and ensure teams follow established processes and agile best practices.

+ Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder demos where Agile is in use.

+ Partner closely with product owners, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to align on priorities and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

+ **10+ years of experience** managing complex, cross-functional technology projects in large enterprise environments.

+ Proven experience creating and managing **scope documents, project charters, risk registers** , and executive reporting dashboards.

+ Strong understanding of **project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, SAFe)** and hands-on experience applying them.

+ **PMP certification required.**

+ Experience with **Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)** and tools such as **JIRA** .

+ Familiarity with CRM implementations and systems used in **banking or financial institutions.**

Preferred Qualifications

+ Prior experience working at a bankor within large financial/banking environments.

+ Experience with **CRM technology platforms** , project delivery in regulated environments, and technology transformation initiatives.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organization.

Education

+ Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

+ Relevant certifications (PMP, SAFe, CSM, etc.)

Additional Notes

+ Must have experience working with **banking tools, internal enterprise systems** , and navigating financial regulatory constraints.

+ Demonstrated ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of delivery and stakeholder engagement.
