Our client, a leader in the refrigeration industry, is seeking a Technician - Refrigeration to join their team. As a Technician - Refrigeration, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, aligning successfully with the organization's goals.

**Job Title:** Technician - Refrigeration

**Location:** Sterling, Virginia

**Pay Range:** $40-45.00 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems and related equipment.

+ Perform planned maintenance on all ammonia refrigeration and utility systems.

+ Conduct daily rounds and inspections of temperatures and conditions of the ammonia system.

+ Complete all applicable documentation as required and directed by the department manager.

+ Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

What's Needed?

+ Must have GCAP and/or RETA combined with EPA Type II Certification.

+ At least 2 years of hands-on ammonia experience.

+ Ability to pass a respirator fit test and pulmonary function test.

+ Willingness to complete a 24-hour HAZMAT class.

+ Basic knowledge of general maintenance and electrical/electronic systems.
