Description
We are looking for a Help Desk tech to join a non-profit organization in Olympia, Washington. This Contract position offers an opportunity to provide critical IT support to onsite and remote users while ensuring smooth operations for conferences and daily workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare, reimage, and troubleshoot laptops ahead of upcoming conferences to ensure readiness.
• Deliver hands-on support for onsite users, including device setup and resolution of workstation issues.
• Set up and troubleshoot Surface devices, dual monitors, and cabling to maintain seamless user experiences.
• Provide assistance with copier functions such as toner replacement and cartridge purchases.
• Offer walk-up support to onsite users with a customer-first attitude, addressing issues promptly.
• Support hybrid and remote work environments by resolving non-administrative IT tasks.
• Assist with video meeting setups and troubleshooting using Logitech equipment.
• Escalate tickets requiring administrative access through ManageEngine.
• Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor while delivering high-quality technical support.
• Ensure reliability and punctuality to meet the organization's IT needs effectively.
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Experience with Surface devices, dual monitors, and basic hardware troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with copier functions, including toner replacement and cartridge purchasing.
• Ability to support Logitech equipment for video conferencing setups.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist users in person without delay.
• Experience in hybrid or remote work environments, focusing on non-administrative IT tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of learning new systems quickly.
