• Citrix Network Systems Architect

    Description

    One of Robert Half’s clients is seeking a highly skilled Citrix Network Systems Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-level Citrix environments and network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance virtual desktop and application delivery across a global organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Architect and lead the deployment of Citrix solutions including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud.

    + Design and implement secure, high-availability network architectures that support Citrix environments, including load balancing, VPN, and SD-WAN.

    + Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with enterprise standards.

    + Lead Citrix infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning initiatives.

    + Develop and maintain architectural documentation, network diagrams, and operational runbooks.

    + Provide Tier 3 support for complex Citrix and network-related incidents.

    + Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations to improve system performance, security, and scalability.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    + 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with at least 4 years focused on Citrix technologies.

    + Strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), and Citrix Cloud.

    + Deep understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, load balancing, and VPN technologies.

    + Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP in enterprise environments.

    + Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management.

    + Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud architectures.
