Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and processing invoices with precision and efficiency. This position requires strong technical skills and a proactive approach to ensure accurate billing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Enter and process invoices using platforms such as Ariba and Open Invoice.

• Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Collaborate with accounts receivable to reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues.

• Verify invoice details for accuracy and completeness before submission.

• Identify and address technical or procedural inefficiencies in the billing process.

• Provide support to team members with billing-related queries and system navigation.

• Ensure timely processing of invoices to meet organizational deadlines.

• Assist in generating reports related to billing activities and account status.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing matters. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in billing or accounts receivable roles.

• Proficiency in using Ariba and Open Invoice systems.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.

• Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to work with billing software.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Solid problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
