Description We are looking for a meticulous Medical Scheduler to join a well-regarded healthcare organization in San Luis Obispo, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position involves coordinating patient appointments, managing medical records, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and the office. Responsibilities:

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments while ensuring accurate and timely communication.

• Verify and update patient information in the medical database.

• Maintain and organize medical records to ensure compliance and accessibility.

• Coordinate the procurement and upkeep of office supplies and equipment.

• Utilize computer systems and database tools to input and manage patient data efficiently.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.

• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure all scheduling needs are met.

• Monitor the accuracy of data entry, ensuring a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.

• Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient office environment. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry with strong attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other office software.

• Ability to type at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy.

• Familiarity with medical scheduling systems or customer database tools.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
