Are you looking for a position that will offer a diverse work day? The Operations Manager for Unity House of Troy's Community Resources program would be the position for you! This position will combine supervision of staff and assisting participants throughout your work day!
Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily activities of the Community Resources first floor.
Coordinate main access to the entire building.
Assist with putting policies and procedures in place.
Promote safety to help decrease the probability of negative interactions amongst building visitors and/or Unity House employees.
Assist with de-escalation of intense situations if they arise.
Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging.
Requirements :
Must have a High School Diploma or GED. 2 years relevant job experience. At least 1 year supervising staff. Clean & valid NYS driver license required. Excellent customer service skills is a must as you will interact with the public frequently. Strong verbal, interpersonal, and de-escalation skills. Must be comfortable working with diverse populations . Must be comfortable using technology. Knowledge of services available to participants and how to obtain them, preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
