Responsible for the smooth functioning of the day-to-day activities of the office of the assigned Residency Program. Provides administrative support to the Director of the program. Assures that proper administrative procedures are maintained at all times. These include medium and long range planning and assurance of compliance with regulations and documentation as mandated by review agencies.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Grant oversight and budgeting for Rural Residency Programs
+ Quarterly meetings with grant departments and check ins as needed
+ Monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for grants
+ Operational support between the residencies and service line leaders who oversee the practices/locations that the residents train in
+ Daily support for Program Specialists and Program Directors of each rural program
+ Weekly check in meetings with each Program Director
+ Weekly check in meetings with each Program Specialist
+ Quarterly program updates with the rural hospital presidents
PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting up to 4 hours daily; 2 hours at a time. Walking up to 1 hour daily. Uses hands and fingers frequently. Rarely lifts or carries up to 10 pounds. Occasionally stoops, bends, squats, crouches or kneels. Rarely reaches above shoulder level. Hearing, as it relates to normal conversation. Seeing, as it relates to general vision.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree preferred.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 1 year experience in residency programs.
