Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and direct a production and packaging crew in various operations, including salt panel and blending panel operations, batch preparation, and packaging operations of Phos-Chek® products. You will ensure the completion of production records and manage records of lot numbers shipped. Additionally, your role involves collecting and marking representative quality control samples, training and leading operators, and assessing returned and damaged products.
Responsibilities
+ Direct the production and packaging crew in operations including salt panel and blending panel operations, batch preparation, and packaging.
+ Complete production records and manage records of lot numbers shipped.
+ Collect and mark representative quality control samples.
+ Train and lead operators in the production of Phos-Chek® retardant.
+ Assess and determine disposition of returned, damaged, and old-age products.
+ Dispatch customer orders and ensure a clean, safe, and healthy work environment.
+ Plan and schedule production with guidance from the Director of US Operations.
+ Handle material, warehousing, and shipping of Phos-Chek® products.
+ Maintain physical control of non-conforming raw materials and finished goods.
+ Ensure compliance with regulations for D.O.T., industrial hygiene, OSHA, etc.
+ Support NetSuite data entry to process daily production entries and raw material receipts.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Supervisory experience in production and packaging.
+ Ability to perform heavy lifting and general labor.
+ Proficiency in the use of hand tools.
+ Bilingual
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bilingual proficiency.
+ Adherence to safe work practices and safety policies.
+ Experience in exercising adequate supervision for manufacturing and storage operations.
+ Participation in the hiring process for seasonal plant personnel.
+ Ability to conduct housekeeping safety inspections.
+ Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large manufacturing facility specializing in fire retardants. It is a hot, loud, and dusty environment with a focus on safety. Employees are required to wear steel-toe shoes, dark-colored pants and shirts, and PPE provided by the company, which includes a hard hat, safety glasses, and ear protection. Expect extended work periods during peak times such as fire seasons, and availability after hours for dispatching on-call customer orders. The nature of the business may expose employees to moderate physical and mental stress, requiring a strong team atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
