Industrial HVAC Maintenance Technician

Currently hiring for a 1st shift Direct Hire Industrial HVAC Maintenance Technician in the Chicago, IL area. Hiring immediately paying up to around $35-36 per hour.

Job Description

+ Working onsite at an industrial manufacturing facility

+ Direct Hire Placement with the company with benefits and insurance

+ 1 st shift 5:00am-2:30pm, plus OT as needed, mainly Monday-Friday

+ Perform both preventive and reactive maintenance on all facilities and HVAC and refrigeration equipment

+ Maintain, monitor, and repair industrial rooftop HVAC and refrigeration systems, and minor maintenance of pumps, air compressors, boilers, dryers, exhaust fans, chillers, and air handlers

+ Will also need to be open to being cross trained in other areas of the facility (production machine maintenance, etc.)

+ Also perform basic plumbing and lighting repairs

+ Electrical maintenance of 120v, 240v, 480v 3 phase systems

+ Oiling, lubrication, and replacement of belts, bearings, valves, piping, seals, filters, and wiring

+ Document completed work orders into computer system

+ Perform brazing and soldering

+ Utilizing blueprints and schematics

+ Follow GMPs, PPE, and Lockout/Tagout

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience troubleshooting PLCs

+ HVAC Certification

+ Boiler experience

+ Previous Industrial Manufacturing/GMP experience

+ Bilingual a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
