    Lead Electrical Field Service Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Lead Service Technician to join our team, responsible for traveling to customer sites to complete installations, machine evaluations, and service work. The role involves collaborating with a mechanical service technician and a service engineer, working closely with customers and maintenance teams. The position requires proficiency in working with PLCs, robots, and automation equipment, as well as controls, I/O, and sensors. You will read blueprints, AutoCAD drawings, assembly drawings, and 3D modeling, and travel 25-30% of the time, with trips lasting up to two weeks. All travel expenses, including flights, transportation, and hotels, will be covered, and a per diem is provided for meals.

    Qualifications

    + At least 5 years of field service technician or industrial maintenance experience.

    + Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including PLC troubleshooting, 480V, 3-phase, and sensor knowledge.

    + Mechanical troubleshooting experience.

    + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, AutoCAD drawings, or 3D modeling.

    + **Willingness to travel 25%-30% of the time and up to two weeks at a time.**

    + **Must have a US Passport or be willing to obtain one.**

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
