Under the direction of the program manager, the Program Coordinator provides office and programming support to students and visitors including, but not limited to, coordinating student events and programs, overseeing administrative functions, greeting visitors, supervising student employees, managing room reservations and office spaces, restocking supplies, administrative paperwork, and partnering with the program manager to draft and distribute communication within the Division of Student Experience. The coordinator cultivates a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment and will assist in providing co-curricular support/resources for students. The program coordinator is responsible for maintaining close working relationships with campus partners, serving as a brand steward for the office's work and initiatives. Preferably, the individual will have a sense of civic engagement in dealing with the broader Syracuse community. The program coordinator demonstrates an appreciation and commitment to the concerns that impact students served by the Barner McDuffie House and all students.
