    Position Summary

    This position supports the Director of Risk Management in building, optimizing, and maintaining tools within our enterprise risk management system, Origami Risk. The ideal candidate will have experience configuring or developing business applications and a desire to work closely with stakeholders to build meaningful, scalable solutions. While this role will be initially focused on Origami, there is potential for future growth into Traylor’s broader IT applications landscape.

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Configure and maintain forms, workflows, reports, dashboards, and other tools within the Origami Risk platform

    • Translate evolving business requirements into system solutions

    • Serve as internal lead developer for Origami-related enhancement and development requests

    • Troubleshoot issues and recommend system improvements

    • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure alignment and potential integration with other platforms

    • Document platform configurations, changes, and best practices

    • Support change management and system adoption by creating user guides and delivering training

    • Evaluate and recommend new functionality within Origami and other business applications

    • Contribute to broader application initiatives across the organization as time and need allow

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Experience developing or configuring business applications; Origami Risk experience preferred

    • Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking capabilities

    • Ability to understand and translate business process needs into technical solutions

    • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms and workflow automation

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Highly self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities independently

    • Understanding of risk, insurance, claims, or EHS workflows is a plus

    • Project management or IT documentation experience is helpful

    • Growth mindset and an interest in expanding into broader IT systems work over time

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field preferred

    • 2–5+ years of experience working with workflow automation, RMIS platforms (e.g., Origami), or custom business system development

    • Experience collaborating across departments and with non-technical users

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work in both office and remote environments

    • Regular keyboard/computer use required

    • Occasional travel to project sites or implementation sessions may be required
