Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Lead Genesys Developer** to take ownership of the design, development, and maintenance of Genesys-based solutions (Genesys Cloud, Engage, or on-premises) for enterprise-level contact centers. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Genesys solutions tailored to enterprise contact center needs.

• Create advanced customizations using Genesys scripting languages (e.g., GVP, GML, CCXML) and integrate with third-party systems such as CRM, WFM, and databases.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and cross-functional teams, promoting best practices in Genesys development.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, identify system bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.

• Collaborate with architects and senior developers to design scalable and reliable contact center systems and integrations.

• Develop and maintain custom APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems including CRM, analytics, and data platforms.

• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and optimize configurations to ensure high availability and efficiency.

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest Genesys platform features and evaluate new tools and technologies for potential adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Genesys platforms (Cloud, Engage, or on-premises)

• Strong knowledge of Genesys scripting languages (GVP, GML, CCXML)

• Experience with API development and integration

• Familiarity with CRM, WFM, and database systems

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Genesys certifications (e.g., Genesys Cloud CX Certified Professional)

• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Salary Transparency

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The disclosed range represents the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting, although we may ultimately pay more or less than the disclosed range, and the range may be modified in the future. The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $110000 - $125000 / year.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
