    Producer is responsible for the writing and production of the newscast as well as contribute to other newscasts, assignment desk work and digital platforms.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to…

     

    -Line produce newscasts

     

    -Writing for newscasts

     

    -Special projects as assigned

     

    -Assistance to assignment editors

     

    -Occasional field work gathering interviews and video with photographer

     

    -Studio production work including assisting guests

     

    -Contribute to digital and social media platforms as directed

    Requirements:

    Candidate should have two years or more as a line producer in a smaller market. Additional experience working on newsroom websites and social media platforms and the assignment desk is a plus.

     

    Hourly rate ranges based on experience. $28-32 an hour.
