We are currently searching for a Maintenance & Reliability Intern who will support the documentation and organization of process updates, critical asset drawings, preventative maintenance documentation and other maintenance/engineering-related aspects at a 24/7 manufacturing facility.
Purpose:
Provide a student interested in Maintenance & Reliability experience in a manufacturing setting while helping with updating mechanical/electrical/process drawings
Objectives:
+ Student exposure to the manufacturing industry
+ Assist the department in continuous improvement activities
Projects:
+ MOC (Management of Change) updates
+ Updating drawings using CAD
+ Assist in documenting procedures and PMs
+ Lock out, tag out procedure reviews
Goals:
+ Present outcomes of main project at the end of the summer to plant and corporate leadership
+ Help support MOC activities through drawing updates in CAD
+ Learn processes and procedures for creating preventative maintenance tasks
+ Work with the maintenance team to review specific lock out tag out procedures and determine if any updates are necessary.
Qualifications:
+ Must be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.
+ Local to Greater Buffalo, NY, preferred
This internship is for Summer 2025.
Rate of Pay: $23/hr
Schedule: Part-time, flexible with class/course schedule
