    PeaceHealth is seeking a Supervisor of Operations - Youth Mentorship Programs for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position.

     

    The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $28.02 – $42.04.

     

    The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

     

    Supervises daily activities of office staff and operations. Provides input to manager regarding personnel, quality and service. Has advanced knowledge medical office operations. May assist in day to day function as needed. Responsible for monitoring the overall services for assigned area, developing quality and performance indicators, gathering data for analysis as well as ensuring continuous improvement to optimize services and stewardship of resources.

    + Strong organizational and project management abilities

    + Comfortable working with data, evaluation tools, and reporting metrics

    + Ability to facilitate training, and handle conflict resolution

    + Cultural competence and a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

    Details of the position:

    + Collaborate on the design and mentorship program structure

    + Collaborate on supported work opportunities for adults with disabilities who want to find vocational jobs

    + Collaborate with partner agencies to provide youth opportunities for work experience in the hospital

    + Promote the programs and recruit suitable community members, mentors and mentees

    + Develop program materials, including position descriptions, training materials. Plan educational sessions for mentees 4 times a year.

    + Promote the mentorship program and other volunteer services programs in the community.

    + Directly manage mentees

    + Oversee the mentee matching process to align participants based on personality, interest, goals, and availability

    + Provide ongoing support to community members seeking work experience, mentors and mentees, and address issues as they arise

    + Organize events such as kickoffs, check-ins, and graduation celebrations

    + Maintain regular communication with participants and leadership

    + Track participants engagement and collect feedback through surveys and interviews

    + Analyze data to measure outcomes and recommend improvements

    + Ensure confidentiality, respectful engagement, and adherence to program policies

    + Participate in supporting other non-profit events

    + Additional duties as assigned to support volunteer services

    + Links mission into day-to-day work, focuses on meeting organization/departmental targets, monitors budget variances and recommends or develops plans for improvement, assures regulatory compliance for assigned areas of responsibility.

    + Recommends selection of staff. Staffing responsibilities include: provides, monitors and evaluates performance and accountability of staff; evaluates competence and initiates performance improvement plans to develop staff and provides meaningful and constructive feedback.

    + Works with leadership to assist in the development of policies, procedures, and enhancements to the delivery of services, and operations of the department.

    + Directly responsible for customer service excellence in assigned area, for both external and internal customers.

    + Manages and promotes departmental programs, consistently seeking avenues to increase effectiveness of services and positive outcomes to improve the patient experience.

    + Monitors production statistics and performs assigned audit to assure accuracy, timeliness and compliance to established standards of related business. Reports results to department leadership as directed.

    + Acts as liaison for problem resolution between interfacing and non-departmental personnel. Acts as a patient advocate.

    + Ensures compliance Labor and Industries regulations impacted by registration area.

    What you bring:

    + Associate Degree Preferred: Business Administration or related field

    + Minimum of 2 years Required: Experience in healthcare setting

    + Minimum of 4 years Required: Experience in supervising staff utilizing proven skills in communications both verbally and written, personnel issue resolution and fostering the team approach between staff both internal and external to the department

    + Must have the ability to tolerate constant interruptions and function in a high stress environment while remaining productive and positive. (Required)

    + Need to have good working knowledge of PC’s and software programs. (Required)

    + Strong analytical and financial management skills with creative problem-solving ability are necessary. (Required)

    + Proven ability to effectively communicate with staff, other department managers and their staff in issue resolution. (Required)

    + Must be able to work in a Windows environment. Word and Excel experience with PowerPoint preferred. (Required)
