Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable **Shop Welder** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Stick, Tig and MIG pipe and structural metal welding, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings. This is a full-time position working primarily in our fabrication shop.

Responsibilities

+ Perform welding tasks using Stick, TIG, and/or MIG techniques

+ Fabricate and assemble metal structures, steel pipes and components per specifications

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols

+ Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other shop tools as needed

+ Inspect welds for accuracy and quality

+ Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 2+ years of welding experience (shop environment preferred)

+ Proficient with various welding techniques (Stick, TIG, MIG)

+ Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

+ Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment

+ Welding certification(s) a plus but not required
